| description | Zolpidem tartrate (zolpidemtartrate) is a non-benzodiazepine sedative-hypnotic drug with chemical name N, N, 6-trimethyl-2-(4 -methylphenyl) Imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-acetamide tartrate, Zolpidem tartrate has the advantages of fast treatment of insomnia, prolonged sleep time, no rebound after drug withdrawal, small side effects, and no respiratory depression; clinical studies have shown that zolpidem can selectively act on the BZ1 (ω1) subtype of the benzodiazepine binding site, increasing the affinity of GA-BA (γ-aminobutyric acid) to the GABA receptor, making chloride the opening of ion channels causes the cell membrane to become supercharged, thereby inhibiting the firing of neurons, resulting in central nervous system depression; the drug has no obvious rebound or withdrawal reaction after withdrawal, and has a relatively significant effect on primary insomnia and insomnia caused by stroke, depression, schizophrenia, etc. |
