(unit definition) ; Amine: oxygen oxidoreductase (deaminating) (pyridoxal-containing) ; 100% made in European Union *(according to USP, EUP, Echa-Reach) ; 9001-53-0>99.99+% (raw virgin matter , ultra pure , selected) ; tech. / lab. / pharmaceutical / bio-research ; ES677A MFCD00130946 232-613-6 1.4.3.22 170 kDa >0.05 unit / mg powder 7.2 100 mM sodium phoshate buffer 10 mg / mL. monoamine oxidase < 1% (benzylamine substrate) <0.00 % < -20 °C >99.99% to <102.50% white powder solid Diamine oxidase from kidney of porcine is a homodimer consisting of two equal subunits with a molecular weight of 87 kDa each; each sub unit contains one molecule of pyridoxal phosphate and 1 atom of copper. The molecular mass of the enzyme is found to be 170 kDa. The enzyme is a glycoprotein containing 5% hexose, 3.3% glucosamine, 2.6% N-acetylglucosamine, and 0.25% N-acetylneuraminic acid. The enzyme exhibits a high affinity for concanavalin A ; optimum pH with cadaverine and histamine as substrates is found to be 6.3-7.4. Application of Diamine Oxidase has been used in the construction of histamine bio-sensor, and in a study to investigate a luminescence-based test for determining ornithine decarboxylase activity ; has also been used in a study to investigate N-linked oligosaccharide structures in Diamine Oxidase. Diamine Oxidase catalyzes the oxidation of monoamines, diamines, and histamine to aldehydes, ammonia and hydrogen peroxide; enzyme is classified as a copper amine oxidase and it's a key enzyme in nitrogen metabolism; besides is inhibited by diethyldithiocarbamate, phenylhydrazine, semicarbazide, cyanide, isonicotinic acid hydrazide. This product is for research use only, is not to be used for therapeutic; not intended for animal or human or diagnostic or therapeutic use , and cannot be sold to patients. Special for chemical transport (according to IATA / ADR / ECHA-REACH rules / int.l laws) . According to U.S./E.U. Pharmacopoeia, Echa-Reach, UNI EN ISO 14001, G.M.P., MSDS, etc... |
